Project Description : The assignment was Training and Employment Services to economically poor & Socially discriminated youth in Nepal. It was to implement in Siraha, Bara, Chitwan, Mahottari, Makwanpur, Rautahat, Saptari, Sindhuli and Parsa districts and to train 700 youth. It was mobile approach based training where the training was organized in the convenient place for target group. The employment linkage service was self-employment and wage employment.
Skills and employment for youth with special needs and very poor youth which have been pre-selected by third party based on poverty criteria are skill trained. The training was based on the CTEVT 390 hrs curricula with skill testing from NSTB/CTEVT. It was mobile approach based training where the training was organized in the convenient place for target group.
